StepStore Terms of Use

StepStore helps you convert walking activity into intentional screen-time access. The app reads permitted activity data from your device, calculates unlock credit based on your steps, lets you select apps to shield, and allows you to spend earned credit on temporary unlock windows.

StepStore is a wellness and productivity tool. It is not medical advice, a medical device, a fitness prescription, or a substitute for professional healthcare advice. You are solely responsible for choosing walking goals and activity levels that are appropriate and safe for you. Consult a healthcare professional before starting any new exercise routine.

Some features require access to:

• Apple HealthKit (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) — for step counting and activity data
• Screen Time / Family Controls (iOS) or Usage Access / Display Over Other Apps (Android) — for app blocking
• Notifications — for walking reminders and unlock alerts
• Accessibility services (Android, where applicable) — for certain blocking features

StepStore's app-blocking functionality depends on operating system APIs and the permissions you grant. We cannot guarantee that every app or app category will be blocked in all circumstances. Operating system updates, permission changes, device settings, battery restrictions, or third-party app behavior may affect reliability. You remain responsible for your own device use and choices. StepStore is a supportive tool, not an absolute enforcement system.

StepStore may offer free trials, paid subscriptions, or premium features. Purchases are processed exclusively through Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through your App Store or Google Play account settings before the current period ends. Trial availability, pricing, renewal terms, and cancellation rules are disclosed at the time of purchase within the app. Trial eligibility is determined by Apple and Google. We do not directly process payment card information. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.

You agree not to:

• Misuse StepStore or interfere with its proper operation
• Attempt to bypass, reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with app-blocking mechanisms or any part of the app
• Use StepStore for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or unauthorized purposes
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful feedback or support requests
• Violate any applicable platform rules, laws, or third-party rights
• Circumvent step-counting or credit systems through fraudulent means

StepStore and all content, features, and functionality within the app (including but not limited to software, designs, text, and graphics) are owned by TrackIt and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Your use of StepStore is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect information.

StepStore relies on third-party services and platform features, including Apple, Google, Mixpanel, and Adapty. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, policy changes, billing systems, or platform restrictions. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue StepStore or any of its features at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be effective upon posting. Your continued use of StepStore after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

StepStore is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to uninterrupted or error-free operation, perfect accuracy of step, distance, or activity data, successful blocking of every selected app or app category in all situations, or that the app will meet every individual expectation or requirement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TrackIt and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or device functionality, or any harm arising from your use of, or inability to use, StepStore.

You may stop using StepStore at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate your access to StepStore if you violate these Terms or use the app in a harmful or unlawful manner. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any subscription fees.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of law principles. If mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide additional rights, those rights are not excluded.
